Hey y'all! I'm LaVon, the owner of Memories Captured by LaVon!

I am many things. I am a Child of God, a Mother of 2, a CubScout Leader for Pack 3026, and a Photographer. I am a native to a little town in Michigan called Allegan.

I love to be involved with my church by volunteering, leading worship, and attending bible studies with my life group. Among other things, I enjoy crocheting, walking, camping, traveling, sketching, and playing with my children. (I truly do love playtime) I'm also obsessed with the color purple. (Just in case you couldn't tell) 

-What got me started in Photography?

I have been a professional photographer since September of 2019. My love for photography though began as a little girl, where I had to use disposable cameras that may or may not take the picture. Time sure has changed! 

My amazing parents gifted me a camera in 2016, and that opened up so many opportunities. I started by taking pictures of my kids and the landscapes around me. I loved capturing my family so much I decided to take a huge leap of faith and start my business. Since then, I have met some amazing people who are just like me, trying to survive in this crazy world. I love meeting new people, getting to know them, and then looking back on how much they have grown/changed. Looking back on pictures helps bring back those moments in time. It feels good to have something to cling onto. That is why it is so important to me that I capture the memories in my life as well as the lives of my clients.

It is a privilege and an honor to be selected to capture my client's journey in life! I look forward to many more years of capturing memories and changing lives!
